The MCE cooperates with a number of institutional and voluntary organisations in Greece and abroad – local councils, regional authorities, development agencies, universities, NGOs.

It is one of the partner NGOs of the Mediterranean Action Programme-PNUE.

It works in close permanent collaboration with the CME – Mediterranean Centre for the Environment (France) and is a member of the GEC – Grouping of European Campuses.
